Keelings Reduces Operational Emissions by 24%

Over the last 95 years, the business has evolved and grown internationally, and we now employ over 2,700 employees across 11 business units in 7 different countries. Keelings recognise the critical relationship between the health of our planet, and our ability to produce quality, nutritious, sustainable food. We have been on an active journey to reduce our own impact through investment in more sustainable solutions.

We are delighted to report a reduction in excess of 24% in our own operational Scope 1 & 2 emissions over the past three years from a baseline in 2019, while our business has continued to grow. A significant challenge remains, and we have also committed to setting a Science Based Target over the coming 12 months as we recognise the need to accelerate our actions right across our value chain.

Well done to all our teams on our farms, in our production facilities and in our offices, it involved a great deal of hard work and dedication to achieve these results. Together, we are continually striving to make food and what we all eat better, through what we grow, the quality improvements and innovations we make.
